Our URUSHI lacquer products are not quite finished when they are purchased. The final, completing step is undertaken by their new owners during the day-to-day use of these products.

When you use these products carefully and frequently, they change subtly over time, taking on a soft texture and a bright sheen.

Please use these lacquer products with care, making sure to do the following:

‐Use soft sponge to wash them

‐Wash gently by hand (do NOT put them in the dishwasher!)

-Use a neutral detergent

-Wipe them dry soon after using them

-Keep them away from sunshine

 

If you put hot water, you may at first notice am smell from the applied lacquer. This smell should rapidly diminish, and soon become unnoticeable.

If your lacquer products should require repair, please do not hesitate to contact us.
